Front Stretch Kick

The Front Stretch Kick is done with the back completely straight.  From the very top of your head all the way down to your lower back, should be a straight line.  Head erect and shoulders down.  Arms out shoulder height, hands like palms with fingers packed together and not open (thumbs tucked) and arms placed slightly behind the shoulders when looking at it from the side.

One leg steps out first and then the other kicks, kind of like a march.  Bring your foot back to the center to meet with the other after every kick.  Both Kicking and supporting leg stay completely straight and the toes must reach the forehead.

*Tip - Never pick your heels up off the floor when kicking (no kicking on your toes)!  Your feet should be completely flat on the floor and eyes look straight, not at the floor or in the sky.
